Position: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Location: Phoenix AZ 85021
Facility: Arizona State Schools for the Deaf and the Blind Special Education Department (SPED)
Schedule: Monday Friday 7:00 AM 3:30 PM (40 hours/week) No Weekends
Shift Options: Multiple CNA shifts available open for discussion
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks (Contract)
Pay Rate: $24/hour

We are urgently seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide quality care at the Arizona State Schools for the Deaf and the Blind. This CNA role involves daily student support assisting nurses and ensuring safety within the special education department.

• Provide personal care and support for students as a Certified Nursing Assistant

• Monitor and document changes in student condition

• Assist with daily living activities under CNA scope of practice

• Support nurses with health-related tasks and care plans

• Maintain a clean safe environment in the facility

• Active CNA license in Arizona

• Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card

• CPR/BLS certification

• Hepatitis B vaccination record (or declination form)

• COVID-19 vaccination record (or declination form)

• Local to Phoenix AZ and available for in-person CNA interview within 1 week

• Able to start within 2 weeks of offer

• Certified Nursing Assistant day shift: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM

• Monday to Friday CNA schedule 40 hours/week

• No weekend CNA shifts
