About this Position:
Job Title: Computer Specialists (Senior)
Responsibilities/Duties:

Must be able to analyze and estimate the cost of converting computer systems from one programming language or platform to another using tools such as compilers simulators emulators or language translators.

Should be capable of recommending ways to optimize operating system capabilities to enhance overall system efficiency.

Responsible for developing managing maintaining and evaluating state-of-the-art computer hardware software and development tools.

Evaluates the ability of these technologies to meet specific requirements and ensure seamless integration with other systems and equipment.

Identifies potential and existing performance bottlenecks and provides actionable recommendations to address them.

Recommends system improvements aimed at achieving optimal utilization of both hardware and software resources.
Education:
-
A Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science Information Systems Engineering Business or other related scientific or technical discipline or three (3) years of equivalent experience in a related field. A Masters Degree is preferred.
General Experience:
-
Must have eight (8) years of computer experience in at least two of the following disciplines: system analysis system programming application programming and equipment analysis.
Specialized Experience:
-
At least five (5) years of experience either as a computer hardware or systems software specialist or as a systems analyst with duties relating to the evaluation of third and fourth generation of current state-of-the-art computer hardware and software and its ability to support specific requirements for hardware and software evaluation system management or large-scale system development and maintenance.
