Your Mission
Join ClearEdge as an Information Systems Security Officer supporting the Signals Analysis Division. Youll play a key role in maintaining system compliance improving security posture and supporting a fast-paced prototype development program. We rapidly develop and integrate solutions helping our customers stay ahead of emerging threats and needs.
You Will Excel in This Role If You Are:
A proactive cybersecurity professional with strong RMF and NIST 800-53 knowledge
Comfortable managing multiple SSPs while staying detail-oriented
Skilled at collaborating with engineers administrators and mission teams
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Confident in identifying and resolving security issues in fast-moving environments
A Day in the Life Of:
Conduct security assessments and regular system audits
Maintain System Security Plans (SSPs) and related documentation
Support security reaccreditation efforts in collaboration with the ISSM
Track and remediate system vulnerabilities
Monitor system compliance through continuous monitoring activities
Ensure that consistent and repeatable security processes are followed
Must Haves:
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Masters degree with 3 years of relevant experience or
Bachelors degree with 5 years of relevant experience or
Associates degree with 7 years of relevant experience or
High school diploma with 9 years of relevant experience
IAM Level I certification (e.g. Security CE CAP GSLC)
Experience with NIST 800-53 controls and RMF compliance
Understanding of defense-in-depth principles and system security architectures
Familiarity with network monitoring and audit practices
Nice to Have:
Experience with STE/STN requirements
Familiarity with continuous monitoring tools and vulnerability scanners
