Position Summary
Were looking for an experienced and strategic Sales and Marketing Manager with a strong focus on business development to lead and grow our revenue. This leadership position gives you full ownership of the sales and marketing departments including structuring the team driving new business and managing the performance of both internal staff and external partners.
The ideal candidate thrives in a startup or growth-stage environment has a proven track record in B2B sales and is capable of building leading and holding teams accountable. You will be responsible for structuring the sales and marketing team making hiring and firing decisions and managing any third-party vendors partners or outsourced sales resources engaged to drive growth.
Develop and implement a multi-channel lead generation strategy using LinkedIn Sales Navigator HubSpot CRM and other B2B prospecting tools.
Execute outbound campaigns using LinkedIn InMail email automation (like Lemlist or Instantly) and contact enrichment platforms (such as or ZoomInfo).
Maintain a robust sales funnel track key performance indicators (KPIs) and optimize conversion rates through A/B testing and data analysis.
Lead all efforts to drive new business from lead generation to deal closure.
Build structure and lead the sales and marketing departments.
Recruit onboard train and terminate team members as needed.
Set KPIs monitor execution and drive performance accountability.
Implement training programs standard operating procedures (SOPs) and performance reviews.
Lead internal sales and marketing personnel managing their daily operations priorities and outputs.
Oversee and coordinate any external vendors sales agencies contractors or third-party partners involved in promoting or selling our services.
Ensure external resources align with internal sales goals branding and performance expectations.
Conduct regular performance evaluations of third-party engagements and make decisions on whether to continue or terminate them based on results.
Facilitate partnership development ensuring external partners are properly trained equipped and motivated.
Collaborate with the marketing team on targeted campaigns content strategies and lead generation that aligns with ideal customer profiles (ICPs).
Provide feedback on lead quality conversion metrics and campaign performance.
Drive a LinkedIn thought leadership strategy positioning the company as an industry leader.
Serve on the leadership team contributing to strategic planning goal setting and execution.
Lead or co-lead EOS Level 10 meetings ensuring team alignment and goal tracking.
Support the development of sales and marketing SOPs onboarding processes and performance systems.
Monitor industry trends the competitive landscape and customer needs within target sectors.
Identify and develop strategic partnerships and alliances to expand our reach and referral opportunities.
Generate regular reports and dashboards on sales metrics pipeline health and marketing performance.
3 years of experience in B2B sales and business development preferably in consulting SaaS or professional services.
Demonstrated ability to build and lead teams with direct experience hiring managing and terminating staff.
Strong leadership experience preferably in a startup or high-growth environment with limited resources and a need for rapid scaling.
Experience managing third-party vendors partners or outsourced sales resources.
Proficiency in LinkedIn Sales Navigator HubSpot (or an equivalent CRM) and outbound prospecting tools.
A strong understanding of sales and marketing alignment lead funnels and business acquisition strategies.
Familiarity with the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) and participation in Level 10 meetings is preferred.
Excellent communication leadership and relationship-building skills.
