The Inventory Planner s responsibility is to process purchasing orders maintain inventories of garments and control inventory stock levels to ensure the right products are in stock at the right time.
Create and distribute POs and BPOs (Value-added Service Production Orders) approval requests (20% of time)
Develop forecasts of future demand and inventory requirements by measuring sales trends calculating lead time demand calculating safety stocks and setting reorder points (10% of time)
Monitor contractual inventory minimum and maximum levels (safety stocks) of merchandise to ensure availability to meet customer needs (10% of time)
Process re-order reports and execute inventory strategies to fill account requirements (10% of time)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales program managers customer service purchasing and production to ensure inventory targets are met (10% of time)
Analyze data to identify trends and make recommendations to improve inventory processes (10% of time)
Reduce exposure to excess and obsolete inventory by observing strict planning guidelines (10% of time)
Proactively alert production and purchasing teams on possible demand and inventory issues (10% of time)
Monitor the accuracy of cost sheets and correct any discrepancies (10% of time)

College/associate s degree in supply chain or business administration
Experience in supply chain and logistics
Experience in ERP and warehouse management systems
Minimum 6 months experience
Knowledge: Identifies the acquired information or concepts that relate to a specific discipline.
Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in supply chain management.
Knowledge of garment construction and fabric materials properties.
Skills: Describe acquired behaviors and may cover manual aspects required to do the job.
