- Rate: Travel: $1408/40-hours Local: $1356/40-hours
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of direct patient care experience.
- Bachelor s degree OR
- High School Diploma/GED and 2 years of experience in the mental health or a related field OR
- Mental Health Specialist certificate.
- Basic Life Support (BLS).
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and assistance to patients in accordance with established treatment plans and behavior management strategies.
- Demonstrate the ability to assess and respond to patient needs based on age development and mental health conditions.
- Monitor document and report patient behavior progress and any significant changes to the healthcare team.
- Build therapeutic relationships with patients and their families to encourage trust engagement and positive outcomes.
- Assist with daily living activities and ensure patient safety at all times.
- Operate and maintain medical equipment necessary for patient care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to review and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain a clean organized and safe environment for patients and staff.
