- EA Level 10A ($108710.78 base salary plus superannuation)
- 35-hour work week
- 12-month fixed term contract
About the role
Sydney Water is excited to announce an opportunity to join ahigh-impact laboratory relocation project! Were seekingthree experienced Senior Water Quality Analystswith expertise inBiology/MicrobiologyChemistry orField Sampling & Testing.
This is a rare chance to apply your deep technical knowledge in a dynamic hands-on project that will shape the future of our laboratory operations.
As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) youll play a key role in the successful transition to our new laboratory facility. This role is diverse and fast-pacedone day you might be packing boxes and the next designing new workflows and training staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as theSMEfor your area: Chemistry Biology or Field Sampling & Testing
- Co-leadquality checks and accreditationefforts at the new site
- Conductscenario testingandworkflow walkthroughs
- Champion thechange processand support staff throughout the transition
- Coordinatesafety walkthroughsand contribute todesign workshops
- Review and updatequality documentationfor the new premises
- Assist withdecontamination and decommissioningat West Ryde
- Delivertrainingon new workflows before and after the move
About You
We are looking for candidates with:
- Several years experience in acommercial laboratory environment
- Strong understanding ofquality and safety management systems
- Excellentcommunication skillsand agrowth mindset
- Ideally experience in thewater industry
