  • EA Level 10A ($108710.78 base salary plus superannuation)
  • 35-hour work week
  • 12-month fixed term contract

About the role

Sydney Water is excited to announce an opportunity to join ahigh-impact laboratory relocation project! Were seekingthree experienced Senior Water Quality Analystswith expertise inBiology/MicrobiologyChemistry orField Sampling & Testing.

This is a rare chance to apply your deep technical knowledge in a dynamic hands-on project that will shape the future of our laboratory operations.

As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) youll play a key role in the successful transition to our new laboratory facility. This role is diverse and fast-pacedone day you might be packing boxes and the next designing new workflows and training staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as theSMEfor your area: Chemistry Biology or Field Sampling & Testing
  • Co-leadquality checks and accreditationefforts at the new site
  • Conductscenario testingandworkflow walkthroughs
  • Champion thechange processand support staff throughout the transition
  • Coordinatesafety walkthroughsand contribute todesign workshops
  • Review and updatequality documentationfor the new premises
  • Assist withdecontamination and decommissioningat West Ryde
  • Delivertrainingon new workflows before and after the move

About You

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Several years experience in acommercial laboratory environment
  • Strong understanding ofquality and safety management systems
  • Excellentcommunication skillsand agrowth mindset
  • Ideally experience in thewater industry
