Job Summary
Starting wage is $15.50/hr $1.25 2nd shift premium. Excellent benefits and fast advancement opportunities.
1st Shift: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm Monday - Friday
2nd Shift: 3:00 pm - 1:30 am Monday - Thursday
Operate electrically powered presses to cut shape and form metal components in the re-manufacture of brake components.
Principle Responsibilities
- Position and align parts to be stamped in punch press machine.
- Start machine observe operation monitor displays and readjust machine to ensure finished assemblies conform to specifications.
- Operate machine manually or from automatic settings.
- Disposes of scrap and rejected material in an appropriate manner and according to safety regulations.
- Follow established quality procedures.
- Comply with all company safety guidelines and procedures.
- Maintain a clean work environment.
Qualifications :
Competencies
- Ability to lift 15-25 lbs. throughout shift
- Manual dexterity
- High attention to detail
- Diligent use of personal protective equipment
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
