Fleet Coordinator

Key Information:
- Must have a strong understanding of light and heavy equipment such as fleet vehicles dozers excavators loaders rock trucks graders packers etc.
- Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00-4:30.
- Must be willing to work overtime when required.
- Hourly rate is dependent on experience.

Job Description:
- Have a strong understanding of light and heavy equipment such as fleet vehicles dozers excavators loaders rock trucks graders packers etc.
- Ensures full compliance with the companys Health & Safety Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct policies.
- Responding to project requests this position requires a high level of professionalism and interpersonal interaction.
- Communicating with field operations to ensure seamless delivery of client projects.
- Job and equipment planning within the scope of existing fleet and rental inventory.
- Supporting sourcing of parts/equipment based on field operations requirements.
- Ensuring that client receives equipment and tracks through various software and telematics.
- Exceptional multi-tasking organizational and prioritization skills.
- Strong forecasting skills.
- An understanding of Hours of Service for heavy units.
- Strong spoken and written communication skills with an ability to foster relationships.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment while maintaining clarity focus and calm.
- Adaptability to accommodate job scope modifications.
- Safety conscious and aware of the importance of safety at an organizational level.
- Must have strong computer and systems skills. (Spreadsheets Excel Word Outlook)
- Ability to handle conflict and determine solutions while maintaining a cohesive team environment.
- General interest in construction equipment a definite asset. (hear the request/problem and work toward a solution)
- May perform other administrative duties as required.
Experience and Certification Requirements:
- Must have a valid drivers license and a reliable means of transportation.
- A drivers abstract is required and must be obtained no more than 30 days prior to employment start date.
- Team player and excellent people skills.
- Proficient English language skills required.
Education: Completion of high school or equivalent is required.
