Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:
The responsibility of the Part-Time Assistant Coach Bowling is to help in the day-to-day functioning of the Bowling program. This role is a part-time 10-month assignment from August to May.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Perform on field and position coaching duties as determined by the Head Coach
- Assist with transportation of student-athletes to tournaments
- Assist with the conduct discipline and positive character development of student-athletes by using the guidelines and principles of the USM Mission and the NAIA Champions of Character initiative
- Assist with student-athletes in personal development
- Teach and promote the USM Mission values of community respect justice and excellence
- Works with the Athletic Department in all sport promotions fundraising and recruitment efforts
- Assist with USM Athletic Department game and event management
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors degree preferred
- 2-3 years related experience
- Must be twenty-one (21) years or older and be able to successfully complete the approved driver certification.
- Able to work nights and weekends with capabilities to travel
- Ability to lift 30 to 50 lbs. and sit or stand for long periods of time.
