Lake Technical College
Lake Technical College is seeking a passionate and experienced Nursing Instructor to join our dedicated faculty team. This position offers a unique opportunity to educate and mentor the next generation of practical nurses through a dynamic combination of classroom teaching hands-on clinical instruction and simulation lab experiences. The ideal candidate will bring real-world nursing expertise strong communication skills and a commitment to student success in both academic and clinical settings. This positions primary location is located in Clermont FL and will follow a 226-day instructional calendar. The student schedule is Monday through Thursday during daytime hours with daily instructor planning time and a half-day on Fridays designated for planning and preparation.
Requirements:
- Active RN License in FL.
- BSN is preferred but not required.
- Minimum 3 years industry experience.
- Teaching experience is a plus but not required.
- Position involves face-to-face classroom teaching & travel to clinical sites and simulation labs.
- CPR/First Aid Certified Instructor certified is a plus but not required.
Technology Literacy desired:
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint).
- Basic computer skills and internet use.
- Ability to learn virtual software platforms.
This position works 226 days per year - because of the additional days beyond the traditional 196 day calendar the salary range for this positionis roughly $57100 to $68952.
