Job Description
Nearby aerospace products company needs a machinist to set up and operate NC milling machine shop equipment. This client is a provides very high precision parts and assemblies.
Should have experience as a machinist/machine operator working with NC metal shaping machines such as mills turning centers machining centers lathes grinders jig borers drill press.
This is an opportunity for you to work very independently inspecting your own work as you progress. Working with blueprints and specs equipment manuals operation sheets etc. you will produce high quality aerospace parts and assemblies. You will use basic mechanical inspection equipment. Should have experience with CMM equipment calipers micrometers comparators. Technical education certificate is a plus.
My client is seeking a senior level experienced candidate and will pay an attractive salary for the right person. Minimum four years experience please.
Qualifications :
Technical machine shop training including on-the-job training is acceptable.
Four years experience preferred in a machine shop working with milling machines and lathes both manual and CNC.
Must be able to pass Federal Department of Transportation screening for drugs and alcohol
