Job Description
As a React Developer you will be in charge of the development maintenance and enhancement of our web applications. Your main focus will be on our Data Catalog and related AI assistant solutions. This project aims to empower businesses with a smarter way to discover document and utilize their data assets. The project combines advanced user experience with intelligent features powered by AI - think smart search metadata enrichment and contextual recommendations.
Among other assignments you will:
- Build and maintain user interfaces for our product. Focusing on the data catalog while also helping shape a new AI-powered product were building.
- Collaborate with designers backend engineers DevOps engineers and data specialists to deliver a seamless UX for complex data products
- Integrate AI features into the frontend (e.g. semantic search automated tagging recommendations)
- Translate business needs and user feedback into fast scalable and user-friendly interfaces
- Ensure high performance code quality and maintainability of the application
You will be working with the following technologies:
- React (including Hooks Context and modern state management approaches) - Typescript/Javascript (ES6)
- Tailwind - RESTful APIs & WebSockets
- Automated testing frameworks
- GitHub for version control
What your daily job will entail:
- 70% working on new functionality;
- 20% maintenance;
- 10% meetings training and development.
Qualifications :
What were looking for:
Proficiency in React and a strong grasp of modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
Need-to-have skills:
- Proficiency in React and Tailwind
- Experience building UI interfaces users love
- Solid understanding of RESTful/Fast API integration
- Good sense of UI/UX and experience implementing responsive designs
- Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows;
- Good communication abilities ensuring smooth collaboration within the team and with project managers;
- Collaboration skills and willingness to share knowledge and ideas.
Nice-to-have skills:
- Backend and Python (we use FastAPI)
- Experience with AI/ML-powered features in the frontend
- Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices;
- Familiarity with DataOps and Automation practices.
