Job Description

About the role

We are currently seeking a Production Scheduler (Planner) with a positive team-oriented attitude to join our Hamilton-based team.

In this role youll lead the production planning process for our Hamilton plant which plays a critical role in ensuring smooth operations and timely delivery. Contributing to the broader master scheduling across multiple manufacturing sites in NZ & AU there are opportunities to further develop this function over time.

Youll work closely with cross-functional teamsincluding Sales and Operations Planning Production Engineering Quality and Supply Chainto manage the production schedule and ensure delivery targets are met. Your work will directly support the achievement of key plant KPIs in Safety Quality Delivery Cost and Efficiency through continuous improvement initiatives.

Beyond planning youll also contribute to production-related projects and Lean methodologies to enhance workflow and efficiency. A solid understanding of ERP systems and multi-site MRP will be key to your success in this role.

This is a full-time permanent position working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday on our Hamilton plant. If youre passionate about driving production excellence and making a meaningful impact wed love to hear from you!


Qualifications :

What you will bring to the role

Youll bring a strong work ethic a self-motivated approach and the confidence to take initiative while owning your own processes. With a keen eye for detail excellent time management and planning skills youll thrive in a fast-paced environment balancing multiple priorities and adapting quickly to changing situations.

Your ability to think outside the box solve problems creatively and implement solutions will be essential to success in this role. Collaboration and clear communication will be key as you work closely with various stakeholders to drive efficiency and results.

Ideally you will also have:

  • Experience in manufacturing and exposure to Epicor or a similar ERP system.
  • Supply Chain Sales & Operations Planning exposure.
  • A high level of computer literacy and expertise in data analysis and manipulation.
  • A customer-focused mindset with a high level of motivation and drive.
  • A Certificate in Production and Inventory Management (beneficial but not essential).
