Are you an experienced Senior Business Analyst looking to apply your expertise to impactful government programs
Resolve Recruit is partnering with a leading Commonwealth statutory authority to find experienced Senior Business Analysts to support a range of projects aimed at enhancing business systems and enabling regulatory reform.
In this role youll work closely with project managers IT teams business stakeholders SMEs and vendors to develop high-quality requirements documentation and support the delivery of improvements across enterprise platforms. Your work will help modernise systems that underpin maritime safety environmental protection and regulatory compliance across Australias national waters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop high-level detailed functional and non-functional requirements user cases and scenarios for complex government projects.
- Analyse and map business processes user pathways and information flows to optimise service delivery outcomes.
- Act as the primary conduit between business stakeholders project teams and IT resources to ensure successful project delivery.
- Design innovative business solutions that support legislative changes and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Lead technical writing activities producing high-quality documentation including requirements guidelines process maps and procedures.
- Drive continuous improvement activities across IT enterprise platforms and contribute to organisational transformation initiatives.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 5 years delivering business analyst services for government programs and projects (Commonwealth or state level).
- Business analyst certification meeting relevant industry standards.
- Highly developed communication skills prioritisation problem-solving and relationship building capabilities.
- Proven experience delivering solutions supporting legislative changes and regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Exceptional technical writing skills with a track record of producing high-quality requirements documentation guidelines and process maps.
