Job Description
- Assist residents with bathing dressing grooming and other personal care tasks
- Administer medications and ensure residents take them as prescribed
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure and temperature
- Assist with mobility and transfers using proper lifting techniques and equipment
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
- Document resident observations and report any changes in condition to the nursing staff
- Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Previous experience in a senior living or assisted living facility preferred
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
