Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team for a night shift assignment in Elkins WV. This 9-week contract offers consistent hours competitive pay and the opportunity to work in a supportive medical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing dressing eating and personal hygiene
- Take and record vital signs (temperature pulse blood pressure etc.)
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely
- Assist with mobility transfers and positioning of patients
- Report changes in patients physical or emotional condition to nursing staff
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
- Follow infection control protocols and facility procedures
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients during night hours
Requirements:
- Active CNA certification in the state of West Virginia
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- At least 6 months of recent CNA experience
- Ability to work 12-hour overnight shifts
- Strong communication organizational and interpersonal skills
