- Youll gain hands-on experience in an array of key HR functions while completing an accredited HR apprenticeship qualification or studying toward a CIPD qualification - building the skills and knowledge for a thriving career in human resources.
- You will have an opportunity to learn about HR systems and processes (including SAP SuccessFactors and SmartRecruiters) UK employment law GDPR and internal policies Recruitment lifecycle and onboarding best practices Communication and stakeholder management and Data handling and reporting.

Duties and tasks
- Support recruitment activities including posting job ads scheduling interviews and onboarding new hires.
- Assist with HR administration such as employee records contracts reference/background checking and payroll processing/checking.
- Provide first-line support to employee queries escalating as necessary.
- Coordinate employee engagement initiatives wellbeing programmes and training sessions.
- Participate in policy reviews data reporting data verification and compliance tracking.
- Collaborate with different departments to deliver weekly Company communications.
Qualifications :
- We are looking for applicants wishing to pursue a career in HR
- You will need to be a strong communicator who can demonstrate excellent organisational skills
- An eye for detail an analytical mindset and a proactive attitude are key requirements as is the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
- HR Apprentice: Eligibility to undertake an HR apprenticeship (e.g. CIPD Level 3) e.g. a minimum of 5 GCSEs (including English and Maths) and ideally some form of further education.
- HR Intern: candidates should have relevant experience and/or have studied HR Psychology Economics or Business Studies previously.
Additional Information :
The successful applicant will be based at our Global Innovation Centre in Harwell Oxfordshire. We operate hybrid working; the successful applicant will be required to spend three days per week working on-site.
