If youve earned your stripes in chilled environment and youre ready to take on a flagship grocery account then this is your shot
and with that youll be stepping into one of THE major players in the chilled food market.
The focus is a high profile and hands-on grocery account. Youll be working with a major retailer who expects proactive contact strategic input and full day-to-day support. This is not a desk job. It requires someone confident organised and comfortable building strong integrated relationships across the customers business.
Take the lead in creating and managing joint business plans that drive growth. Be ready to lead promotional planning and deliver accurate sales forecasts while also managing range reviews and identifying opportunities to improve category performance.
Work closely with the internal NPD team to help shape and launch new products and will ensure everything is aligned ahead of first production. This includes components specifications and the detail behind every product hitting the shelf.
The role sits at the heart of a cross functional commercial team. Work directly with category and marketing to turn insight into action and alongside technical supply chain and product development to keep everything on track. Analyse sales data to understand your market and track your customers position against key competitors.
To succeed here you will need around 2 years of experience in a commercial role within food manufacturing. Ideally youll have worked with a major grocery retailer or foodservice customer and have a solid understanding of the industry.
Got a drivers licence or have the capability to zip up and down the country on a regular basis Great! Regular travel to the customer and between sites is gonna be a key part of the job. Make sure your seatbelt is fastened!
