Hours of work:12 hours a week (2 days):8.30am 3pm
Contract type: Fixed term contract until end of July 2026 (with possibility of becoming permanent)

A bit about us:
Our setting is based in The RISE Community Hub at The Oaks Chippenham. We are based near St Pauls Primary School and are open term time only. Our pre-school takes two-year funded children. We are a communication friendly setting and have a Wiltshire Early Years reading award.
This post will provide the successful candidate with an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in childrens lives. Our Pre-school has been rated Good by Ofsted finding the staff who work well as a team provide children with a stimulating learning environment
both indoors and outdoors. Staff have a very good understanding of individual needs.
The Pre-school is part of the RISE trust family and our staff form part of the wider RISE team working with children and young people 0-19 years.
All about the role:
We are seeking to employ a qualified and experienced Pre-School Practitioner to work within our Pre-school in Chippenham.
Applicants must:
Either have completed Level 2 and/or be on the pathway towards the completion of NVQ Level 3
Have experience of volunteering/working in an early years setting
Have a sound knowledge of child-development and the EYFS
Have the desire and ability to develop excellent partnerships with parents about their childrens learning
Have an understanding of safeguarding policy and procedures
Have excellent diplomacy and communication skills in order to present information confidently
Be positive dynamic energetic and robust
