**Full-time temporary position until the end of the year

Caroline Chisholm is seeking a skilled contemporary and passionate TAS Teacher to be part of our school community and enrich the lives of our students.

About you:

The TAS teacher will fit the following criteria:

  • An extensive knowledge of the TAS syllabus KLA Years 7-10 along with best practice programming and assessing.

  • Current knowledge of best practice explicit teaching learning and assessing to ensure strong student learning outcomes.

  • An ability to differentiate learning to cater for a wide range of student learning needs.

  • A passion for TAS education and establishing partnerships with our KLAs and external stakeholders to maximise learning experiences in an all girls context.

  • An ability to analyse learning data and collaborate with KLA peers to develop effective school improvement plans.

  • An ability to work innovatively and creatively with TAS staff and students to lead and inspire a culture of excellence.

This position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child-related employment including the completion of a National Police Check retention of a valid Working with Children Check and adoption and compliance with CSPDS Child Safeguarding Procedures and Code of Conduct When Working With Students and Children.

CSPD promotes the safety and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and children from culturally and/or linguistically diverse backgrounds.
