School: Secondary Academy Bexley Southeast London
Annual Salary: Enhanced MPS/UPS outer London (36469 - 54055 per annum)
Contract: Permanent full-time
Start date: January 2026
Aston Education is working with an Ofsted Good 11-18 secondary Academy in Bexley in Southeast London bordering Kent. They are looking for a permanent full-time Religious Studies Teacher.

Religious Studies is an important subject in the school and this is an exciting opportunity for an RS Teacher / RE Teacher with strong subject knowledge and a love of learning to join an excellent department inspiring students and bringing RS to life through engaging and innovative teaching.
They want their students to think deeply understand different beliefs and learn to respect other peoples views and they are looking for someone who can bring these ideas to life in the classroom.
You will provide inclusive support to ensure students have full access to the curriculum and help them foster a love for RS. The successful applicant will be able to teach RS across key stages 3-4 with potential for key stage 5.
A willingness to teach other Humanities/Social Science subjects would be advantageous.
They welcome applications from ECTs and more experienced teachers.
