General Requirements:
Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
Perform all essential job functions and meet performance standards with or without reasonable accommodations.
Demonstrate basic proficiency in reading writing and math.
Comply with all established quality and safety protocols.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Leadership & Compliance:
Administer and consistently enforce all company policies and procedures.
Foster a positive union-free work environment through equitable treatment and open communication across all levels of staff.
Ensure the facility operates within the approved budget.
Implement and monitor adherence to standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency.
Ensure compliance with OSHA and all safety regulations; lead initiatives that promote a culture of safety and support a goal of zero reportable accidents.
Conduct interviews hiring onboarding and ongoing development of team members in coordination with Human Resources.
Perform annual performance appraisals for all direct reports setting measurable goals and objectives.
Provide ongoing documented feedback to team members to support performance and development.
Operations & Performance:
9. Continuously evaluate and improve hiring and retention practices to reduce turnover aiming to meet or exceed industry standards as reported by TRSA.
10. Maintain full compliance with all federal state and local laws as well as company policies.
11. Contribute to the development and implementation of improved production systems.
12. Monitor key production and labor metrics using digital tools (e.g. spreadsheets) for streamlined reporting and analysis.
13. Ensure timely completion of all required plant training programs.
14. Achieve production goals and delivery schedules while minimizing overtime and maintaining high quality standards.
15. Oversee all aspects of plant operations including production delivery and maintenance.
Employee Engagement & Incentives:
16. Develop and implement standard piece rates for each workstation forming the foundation of the employee incentive program.
17. Ensure team members are regularly updated on performance levels and provided with coaching and support to meet expectations.
18. Manage all employee terminations in compliance with company policies and with HR involvement.
Customer & Cross-Functional Collaboration:
19. Work collaboratively with Sales and Service teams to resolve customer issues promptly and effectively.
20. Maintain a thorough understanding of all production roles and responsibilities within the facility.
21. Be available to take after-hours calls as needed.
22. Ensure seamless communication and coordination with the Shift Manager to support operational continuity.
23. Complete additional tasks or special projects as assigned by the Shift Manager.
