Are you an experienced Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) Subject Matter Expert (SME) seeking an opportunity to support high-impact digital transformation within the Commonwealth government
Resolve Recruit is partnering with a leading Commonwealth Government department to find a highly skilled MECM / SME.
Our client is responsible for Australias foreign affairs and trade relationships connecting Australia with the world through diplomatic missions trade promotion and international engagement. This role offers the chance to design coordinate and implement end-to-end technology solutions that support Australias international presence while ensuring technological compatibility efficiency and scalability across complex global government systems.
The MECM / SME is responsible for completing quarterly updates developing and managing patch and vulnerability remediation processes and deploying security updates patches and hotfixes. They also assist with managed OS deployments ensure systems adhere to security and compliance standards and analyse and resolve complex enterprise system hardware and software problems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete quarterly updates for MECM infrastructure
- Design implement and manage patch and vulnerability remediation processes
- Deploy security updates patches and hotfixes using MECM and Intune
- Support managed OS deployments and ensure system compliance
- Analyse and resolve complex enterprise system issues
- Liaise with peer teams and vendors to coordinate end-to-end solutions
Key Experience and Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of experience administering MECM environments
- Proficiency with Microsoft Intune and MECM
- Strong understanding of patch management and compliance
- Demonstrated ability to resolve enterprise-level hardware and software issues
- Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (desirable)
- Experience working within secure Commonwealth Government environments.
