Job Summary:
HiFyve is seeking a Controls and Automation Engineer Supervisor in West Central MO. This role will support the design implementation and maintenance of automated systems within a manufacturing and production facility.
Salary: $90K-$130K 15% Bonus

Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and program PLC HMI and SCADA systems for manufacturing automation.
- Troubleshoot maintain and optimize electrical control systems including sensors actuators and networking components.
- Collaborate with production maintenance and engineering teams to improve system reliability and efficiency.
- Integrate new automation solutions with existing production equipment and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
- Develop and maintain detailed electrical schematics wiring diagrams and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations industry standards (UL NEC NFPA 70E) and company policies.
- Lead or support projects involving robotics motion control industrial networking and IIoT solutions.
- Provide technical training and support to maintenance teams for troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
- Work with vendors and suppliers to source automation components and manage project implementation.
- Analyze system performance and recommend continuous improvement strategies for automated processes.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Automation Engineering Mechatronics or related field-4 years of experience in food/beverage manufacturing and 2 years of direct supervisory experience.
- OR 10 years of experience in food/beverage manufacturing including 4 years of direct supervisory experience.
- 3 years of experience in industrial automation controls or manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (Allen-Bradley Siemens or Schneider Electric).
- Experience with HMI/SCADA development (FactoryTalk Wonderware Ignition etc.).
- Strong knowledge of industrial networking protocols (EtherNet/IP Modbus Profibus etc.).
- Familiarity with robotics motion control and vision systems is a plus.
- Experience with AutoCAD Electrical for control panel design is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced high-volume production environments.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
