Credit Manager

As a Credit Manager at Crescent Electric you will obtain credit information for new customers assist with credit collections and maintain accurate customer records.

Primary Duties:

• Gather credit information on potential new accounts.

• Contact customers regarding past due balances.

• Deposit any incoming checks or forward onto the General Office.

• Make cash sale deposits and follow up on any discrepancies.

• Research debit memos and unapplied credits.

• Issue credits to customers when necessary or make any corrections to customer billing.

• Correspond with customers on billing discrepancies.

• Direct all work performed in the unit or department.

• Stay abreast of trends in the industry and particularly with changes in credit law or regulation.

• Support company goals and objectives.

Skills:

• Mathematical skills

• Effective communication skills

• Organizational skills

Qualifications:

• Associates degree or bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting from four-year college or university; or 4 years previous credit or accounting experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands:

• Prolonged sitting ability to use computer adding machine and telephone experience preferred.

• Occasionally standing walking use of hands/fingers reaching with hands/arms stooping kneeling crouching/crawling needed.

• Often sitting talking/hearing needed.
