You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailAs a Credit Manager at Crescent Electric you will obtain credit information for new customers assist with credit collections and maintain accurate customer records.
Primary Duties:
Gather credit information on potential new accounts.
Contact customers regarding past due balances.
Deposit any incoming checks or forward onto the General Office.
Make cash sale deposits and follow up on any discrepancies.
Research debit memos and unapplied credits.
Issue credits to customers when necessary or make any corrections to customer billing.
Correspond with customers on billing discrepancies.
Direct all work performed in the unit or department.
Stay abreast of trends in the industry and particularly with changes in credit law or regulation.
Support company goals and objectives.
Skills:
Mathematical skills
Effective communication skills
Organizational skills
Qualifications:
Associates degree or bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting from four-year college or university; or 4 years previous credit or accounting experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Demands:
Prolonged sitting ability to use computer adding machine and telephone experience preferred.
Occasionally standing walking use of hands/fingers reaching with hands/arms stooping kneeling crouching/crawling needed.
Often sitting talking/hearing needed.
