Experienced Diesel Technician

Full Time

Job Summary

Lynch is seeking an experienced and skilled Diesel Technician to join our team and provide expertise in diagnosing repairing and maintaining diesel-powered vehicles and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical electrical and electronic issues in diesel-powered vehicles trucks and equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes filter replacements and fluid checks on diesel engines.
  • Utilize diagnostic equipment specialized tools and technical manuals to accurately identify and resolve problems.
  • Repair diesel engines transmissions differentials and other components as needed.
  • Ensure all repairs and maintenance tasks are performed according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with service advisors to explain repair recommendations processes and associated costs to customers.

Requirements

  • Formal diesel technician training or certification is preferred.
  • Comprehensive understanding of diesel engines fuel systems emissions control and related components.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools computerized systems and technical resources.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues.
