About the role

  • Deliver individualised evidence-based Occupational Therapy care to adults living within the St Vincents catchment to support functional recovery and independence

  • Collaborate with patients families and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement measurable goal-oriented treatment plans

  • Facilitate both individual and group-based interventions including psychoeducation health promotion and relapse prevention.

  • Support patient flow and recovery through effective discharge planning and coordination with community inpatient and mental health services

  • Contribute to service development clinical research and continuous quality improvement within a supportive growth-oriented team environment

About you

  • Registered with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist with an unrestricted NSW Drivers License.

  • Demonstrated core competency skills in mental health in regard to functional assessments and interventions for people experiencing mental health difficulties.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with consumers within a strength focused and recovery-oriented framework.

  • Demonstrated experience working within a multi-disciplinary team in a mental health setting.

  • Experience working in collaboration with a range of stakeholders such as NDIS non-government organisations and community groups.

  • Experience and commitment to working with clients experiencing complex needs including homelessness drug and alcohol use and forensic issues.
