Blue Ridge Health is currently seeking a PRN (as needed) Pharmacy Delivery Technician to be part of our Pharmacy team in Henderson County NC.

What Youll Do:
We are seeking a reliable and professional PRN Pharmacy Delivery Technician to join our team on an as-needed basis. This role is critical in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of medications and supplies to patients and facilities when our full-time drivers are unavailable.Responsibilities include:
- Safely and promptly deliver prescriptions and medical supplies to patients homes or healthcare facilities.
- Follow all HIPAA guidelines and company protocols to ensure patient confidentiality and safety.
- Communicate effectively with the pharmacy team patients and caregivers regarding delivery times and any issues.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain necessary signatures.
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries as needed.
- Perform vehicle safety checks and report any maintenance needs.
- Be available on short notice to cover shifts due to illness PTO or other absences.
What Were Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
- Previous delivery or courier experience preferred especially in a healthcare or pharmacy setting. Not mandatory.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Strong cell phone and navigation app experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and navigate stairs or uneven terrain.
- Dependable punctual and flexible with scheduling.
