Job Description
Job Title :Java QA Architect (J2EE SOA Selenium ALM)
Location: Albany NY (Hybrid)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Qualifications:
- Proven experience serving as the lead software architect and quality assurance tester on enterprise-level projects.
- Hands-on experience working within Agile development teams on complex integrated J2EE-based Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) systems including responsibilities such as project planning task management mentoring junior team members monitoring team performance conducting code reviews and reporting project status. Proficient in Java and JavaScript development.
- Strong background in functional test execution and defect management including test case execution failure analysis defect tracking and compliance assurance using tools such as Micro Focus ALM MasterCraft and JIRA.
- Expertise in designing and implementing scalable test automation frameworks utilizing scripting languages like JavaScript Java VBScript C and tools such as Selenium within Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Skilled in version control and GitHub repository management including branch strategy CI/CD workflow oversight and enforcement of security standards within development environments.
- Proficient in using automated testing tools such as Micro Focus ALM UFT and LoadRunner. Experience in testing web services in SOA environments including both functional and performance testing. Agile development experience is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to write and execute complex SQL queries for validating database integrity with a focus on cross-component transaction management in relational database environments.
- Holds a Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science Engineering or a related technical discipline.
