Job Summary:
The Senior User Experience Analyst is responsible for planning executing and analyzing user research to understand user needs and behaviors. This role involves applying expertise in system design to improve user experience developing information architecture and incorporating accessibility fundamentals. The analyst will present solutions develop research plans conduct user research and oversee the creation of designs that align with user needs.
Location: Washington District of Columbia United States
Responsibilities:
- Planning executing and analyzing user research to understand user needs and behaviors.
- Applying expertise in system design to improve user experience.
- Designing the research process for and/or participating in developing information architecture for systems.
- Incorporating accessibility fundamentals into research and design activities.
- Presenting solutions ideas and recommendations that prioritize user needs.
- Developing research plans and conducting user research (surveys focus groups interviews etc.).
- Overseeing the creation of and/or creating designs that align with user needs including mockups prototypes wireframes and interactive prototypes.
- Overseeing and/or contributing to the development of application or process designs.
- Overseeing and/or conducting usability testing to validate that developed functionality aligns with user needs.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- At least ten years of experience performing the functions associated with this labor category.
- In-depth understanding of requirements analysis principles and best practices.
