Job Summary:
This role focuses on managing self-pay patient accounts collecting outstanding balances assisting families with financial aid applications establishing payment plans and providing account information. The Customer Service Representative will also handle incoming calls address billing inquiries and verify Medi-Cal eligibility.

Responsibilities:
- Collect outstanding balances from self-pay accounts.
- Assist families with financial assistance applications.
- Establish and monitor patient payment plans.
- Respond to incoming calls and provide account information.
- Verify Medi-Cal eligibility and update account information.
- Address patient billing complaints and take appropriate action.
- Process insurance eligibility payments and authorizations.
- Manage accounts receivable.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of two years of experience in a call center environment.
- Knowledge of insurance eligibility payments and authorizations.
- Experience with accounts receivable.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Associates Degree.
- Bilingual English/Spanish.
Special Considerations:
- This is a Monday-Friday 5x8-hour shift position.
