Job Description

Role : Support Engineer/ Operations Engineer( Network Focus)
Location : Dallas Texas
Contract Position .

Primary Skillset

  • Good Knowledge on Routing Switching and other network Protocols
  • Good Knowledge on ticketing
  • Must have Logic monitor

Job Description

  • Implement network changes during appropriate change windows (after hours)
  • Create network changes as required by ticketing system per incident
  • Perform LCM (Lifecycle Management) functions
  • Perform Vulnerability Management functions
  • Identify proper escalations associated with incidents as they occur
  • Follow change and engineering standards documentation
  • Provide network triage for all network incidents
  • Serve as second-tier support for network operations team when needed.
  • Participating in on-call support escalation rotation
  • Serve as a technical resource providing guidance and advice to L1 Network Operations Team
  • 1-3 years of experience in IT monitoring or system administration with hands-on experience using LogicMonitor or similar monitoring tools.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP SNMP HTTP etc.) infrastructure components (servers databases networks) and RESTful API.
  • Experience with the configuration and management of monitoring customized dashboards alerts and reporting.

Mandatory Skills: LogicMonitor .
