Financial Systems QA Analyst

We are seeking a Financial Systems Quality Assurance Analyst with a strong background in SAP and finance to support a growing portfolio of systems integrations and data-driven projects. This role bridges IT and Finance requiring both technical systems acumen and hands-on accounting or financial operations experience. The role requires comfortability in a hybrid analyst/QA role able to document requirements test configurations and support continuous improvement across financial processes.

Hybrid position reporting to the office 4 days a week

• Provides functional support for SAP financial modules particularly FICO AP inventory fixed assets and general ledger.
• Conducts manual QA testing in SAP environments documenting test cases and results using Excel or Word.
• Investigates and resolve production issues; ensure data integrity across financial transactions and reports.
• Collaborates closely with Finance Procurement and IT teams to gather requirements test enhancements and support deployments.
• Manages the creation and lifecycle of purchase orders vendor contracts goods receipts invoice validations and asset transactions.
• Reconciles financial data and perform root cause analysis of discrepancies (e.g. payment reclassifications pricing variances).
• Contributes to automation efforts and testing related to Greenhouse Gas (GHG) reporting inventory transfer processes and EDI vendor onboarding.
• Supports integrations and data validation for new systems including Retail Payroll and B2B purchasing platforms.

• Bachelors Degree and/or 4-year technical degree (preferably in Business Accounting or Information Technology QA or field) or equivalent experience is required
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a business/systems analyst role with a strong finance or accounting foundation.
• An understanding of Systems Integration concepts and experience utilizing them
• 3-4 years of manual QA testing experience in SAP QA environments; ability to document test plans and results clearly.
• Proficiency in MS Office (i.e. Word Excel etc.)
