Job Description
Assist in the maintenance and repair of equipment machinery and piping systems under the supervision of skilled personnel. Support electricians mechanics and operators during routine inspections and servicing tasks. Perform general housekeeping duties such as cleaning equipment sweeping hosing down areas and removing sludge or debris. Help with loading unloading and transporting tools equipment and materials within the plant and between sites. Operate basic tools and equipment such as shovels wrenches pressure washers and hand carts safely and effectively. Assist in the setup and dismantling of temporary work areas or barricades during maintenance or emergency repairs. Follow all safety procedures including wearing appropriate PPE and following lockout/tagout protocols when required. Respond promptly to requests from operations or maintenance teams during emergencies or breakdowns. Maintain clear communication with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth and safe operations. Carry out other tasks assigned. Minimum of 2 years experience in the same field.
