We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Financial Analyst with deep expertise in Power BI report writing specifically leveraging data from Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O). This role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a data-driven environment and enjoys transforming raw ERP data into meaningful insights that drive strategic financial decisions.
As a key member of our finance and business intelligence teams you will be responsible for building and maintaining insightful reports dashboards and financial models that streamline reporting and forecasting for the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Develop maintain and optimize Power BI reports and dashboards based on data from Dynamics 365 F&O modules (including General Ledger Accounts Payable/Receivable Budgeting Procurement and Fixed Assets).
Collaborate with Finance IT and Operations teams to gather requirements and translate them into BI reporting solutions.
Perform in-depth financial analysis and modeling using ERP data and external sources.
Design robust data models and queries in Power BI for efficient and scalable reporting.
Support monthly quarterly and annual close processes with accurate financial reporting.
Ensure data integrity and implement quality control processes for all dashboards and financial reports.
Continuously identify opportunities to automate and optimize reporting through BI tools and ERP integration.
Provide ad hoc analysis and scenario modeling to support strategic initiatives.
Qualifications :
Required:
Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business Analytics Information Systems or a related field.
3 years of experience in financial analysis with a strong focus on Power BI development.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) data architecture.
Strong SQL/DAX skills for query writing and data transformation.
Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial metrics.
Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred:
Masters degree or relevant certifications (e.g. CPA CFA Power BI Data Analyst Associate).
Familiarity with Azure Data Lake Synapse or other cloud-based data platforms.
Experience working in mid-to-large size enterprise environments.
Knowledge of other BI or visualization tools (e.g. Solver Tableau Excel PivotTables) is a plus.
