Physical Therapist Assistant(PTA)
Shifts Available:Full-Time Part Time & PRN

- Holidays Observed (6):Full timefield cliniciansare eligible to receive an option of holiday units plus units worked or a floating holiday within the same pay period of the observed holiday.PRNfield clinicianswill receive an additional $10 per visit for visits completed on an observed holiday.
- You are eligible to enroll in benefits on the first day of the month following 60 days of employment
- Phone usage reimbursement is 75.00 per month (clinicians)
- PTO accrual begins on the first day of employment; and may be used after completing 90 days of employment
- Full Time and Part Time clinicians will be compensated for mileage atthe IRS equivalent annual rate for the time of mileage occurrence
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the facilitation of rehabilitation of patients with emotional physical or mental disabilities.
- Assist in the implementation of physical therapy care plans.
- Assist with the coordination of care with the home healthcare team.
- Educate patients and family members about health conditions.
- Prepare timely complete and accurate clinical notes.
- Communicate effectively with patients caregivers healthcare providers office support and other care team members.
Qualifications:
- Assistant Physical Therapist in the state of Texas.
- Home health experience highly preferred.
- Knowledge of home health regulations and general healthcare compliance.
- Experience with HCHB EMR. (preferred but not required)
- Able to handle physical workload.
- Good driving record.
- Excellent communication and people skills to effectively interact with patients families and healthcare team members.
