About the role:
As Senior Commercial Analyst (Senior Revenue Management Specialist) youll be the driving force behind analytical thinking and commercial rigor across our most important Cargo initiatives. This isnt a back-office analytics roleyoull be deeply embedded in project teams working alongside product finance network and digital stakeholders to shape decisions that unlock long-term value.
What youll do:
- Lead analysis of strategic projects: Evaluate infrastructure proposals (e.g. Auckland Terminal) product development pipelines and commercial transformation efforts.
- Own commercial modelling: Translate ambiguous business challenges into structured problems and deliver clear actionable insights. Build and maintain market forecasting competitions analysis for cargo long term development.
- Enable executive decision-making: Develop concise insight-rich materials for senior stakeholders. Build robust business cases to support investment decisions
- Influence across the business: Serve as a trusted advisor across Product Finance Operations and Digital.
What youll ideally bring:
Youre a strategic thinker with a strong analytical toolkit and a bias for action. Youre equally comfortable in Excel and know how to turn data into influence.
- 5 years in commercial strategy consulting or similar.
- Proven experience driving outcomes across cross-functional projects.
- Expertise in commercial modelling forecasting business casing or investment analysis.
- Confident communicator who can engage challenge and influence senior stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in ambiguity and proactively identifying the highest-value problems to solve.
