Job Description
Reporting to the HSEC Manager you will be responsible for leading coaching and mentoring team members to ensure deliver of the following:
- Effective Mine Rescue and Emergency Response including ERT training and readiness.
- Oversight of site Medical Response ensuring medic team preparedness and capability.
- Injury classification and management in coordination with Supervisors and HSEC Manager.
- Case management including evidence collation and review with HSE leadership.
- Compliance with QLD Coal Mining Health & Safety legislation including hygiene monitoring and reporting.
- Support and guidance to HSEC Supervisors MESOs and ESOs.
- Development and governance of the sites Safety and Health Management System (SHMS).
- SHMS compliance with legislation and Stanmore standards.
- Risk management related to Health Security and Emergency.
- Technical support for SHMS access systems for Coal Mine Workers.
- Implementation of SHMS compliance schedules and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications :
To be a success you will need:
- Apply risk management processes RIIRIS301D RIIWHS301D and RIICOMN301D
- Carry out the Risk Management Process RIIRIS402D (G2)
- Level 5 or higher qualification or equivalent in HSE Law Safety/Risk Business emergency response management.
- Certificate IV Trainer Assessor (preferred)
- Establish and Maintain the Risk Management System RIIRIS601E (preferred)
- Establish and Maintain the WHS Management System RIIWHS601E (preferred)
- RII30719 Certificate III in Emergency Response and Rescue. (advantageous)
