About the Role
Were seeking an experienced Team Leader to join our manufacturing team at our Stapylton Cans Plant. This is a full-time permanent role on a rotating roster with overtime available.
- 12-hour shifts Day - 6am 6pm and Night - 6pm 6am.
- Week 1 4 x Night shifts Week 2 3 x Day shifts 3 x Night shifts Week 3 4 x Day shifts Week 4 no shifts
- Weekends and Public Holidays as part of roster paid at penalty rates.
Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager youll play a vital role in keeping our plant running smoothly and safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating production machinery alongside the production team.
- Supervising the production team on shift including 3 tradespeople.
- Dealing with production issues and escalating as required.
- Fostering a great work culture and team environment.
- Contribute to project work including installation and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing.
What Youll Bring
- Minimum 5 years experience in leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
- Background in Food FMCG or packaging environment preferred.
- Able to deal well under pressure and manage competing demands.
- Experience in reporting documentation and compliance.
- A proactive attitude and commitment to safety.
