Job Description
Reporting into the Head of Procurement you will be responsible for both supporting a seamless procurement lifecycle through buying goods and services for Jellyfish and seeking opportunities to create and deliver group-wide spend opportunities for The Brandtech Group of companies. You will work with our teams identifying needs and developing specifications negotiating cost-effective contracts managing suppliers and ensuring service delivery exceeds our objectives.
Key categories of spend in scope will be the management of Technology (including but not limited to software/SaaS/hardware) consultancy services HR services and key Marketing services such as creative production media and digital.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Work with operational leads to create and implement procurement category strategies based on spend analysis market trends and requirements
- Develop and implement procurement initiatives that align with the organisations overall objectives
- Leverage data insights benchmarks and metrics to innovate and drive both new and ongoing cost-saving opportunities
- Lead end to end sourcing activities including RFPs negotiations and supplier selection
- Positively influence our Sustainability and DEI (Diversity Equity and Inclusion) objectives with our suppliers to help achieve our goal to be Carbon net zero by 2030
- Mitigate commercial and reputational risk through robust contract management monitoring contract performance against the negotiated and contracted SLAs
- Support updates and review of Procurement policies and trainings/how to guides
Qualifications :
- 3 years experience in a procurement role with category experience
- In-depth knowledge of sourcing principles and best practices
- Experience of IT/Technology/ Indirect spend categories is advantageous
- You thrive working in a fast paced and positively changing environment
- A self-starter with good leadership and experience being able to influence up to senior level
- Strong negotiation skills ability to think creatively and outside the box to drive positive outcomes for the business
- A strong understanding of key contractual terms and conditions to help drive efficiencies and mitigate legal risk
- Being resilient and having a positive and proactive problem-solving mindset is important.
- Analytical and able to interpret data quickly with strong Excel skills.
- Excellent knowledge of important contractual clauses and experience in the best sourcing and category management
