Huon is seeking a driven Financial Analyst to take the lead in delivering high impact financial forecasting and budgeting initiatives that drive business performance. If youre enthusiastic about turning data into insight and insight into action we want to hear from you!
The role
Youll champion data analysis with purpose and collaborate across departments to provide recommendations opportunities and initiatives for improvement. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the development of financial forecasts and budgets to support business performance
- Owning and refining complex financial models integrating P&L balance sheet and cash flow
- Collaborating across departments to drive efficiencies reduce fixed costs and strengthen financial ownership
- Delivering tailored financial insights and recommendations to business units and stakeholders
- Ensuring discipline in budgeting forecasting and performance tracking
This fantastic full-time opportunity is based in our Hobart CBD office.
About you
You bring a solid background in financial planning and analysis and have a curiosity for aquaculture. Your capabilities include:
- Operating at both detailed and strategic levels with strong attention to detail
- Strong business acumen with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Skilled in excel and data analysis for accurate forecasting and informed decision-making
- Proven ability to build and manage strategic relationships across all organisational levels
- Resilient and adaptable with composure under pressure and in changing environments
