Job Description
Join our lively snack bar team! Were seeking an energetic and customer-focused Snack Bar Attendant to provide exceptional service and delicious food to our campus community.
Position Details:
- Pay starts at $21.00 per hour commensurate with experience.
- This is a 35 hours weekly 10-month academic-year position with the following scheduled hours: Sunday and Monday 1:30 - 9:00PM and Tuesday through Thursday 10:00 AM - 5:30 PM. Schedules are subject to change based on departmental needs.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation and service including set-up and breakdown.
- Perform cooking duties as required.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Restock food items as needed.
- Assist with inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards.
- Conduct daily cleaning tasks as assigned.
- May be asked to work overtime and work schedules may vary to include weekends evenings and holidays as required.
Qualifications:
- Enthusiastic and energetic demeanor.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Knowledge and ability to work on a grill.
- Basic math skills.
- Flexibility to handle varying schedules.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Capability to lift heavy objects up to 40 pounds.
- Professional demeanor in relating to customers and staff.
- Kitchen experience preferred.
- General knowledge of food service preferred.
