This grant funded position is for the 2025-2026 school year only. The position is for 6 hours per day (30 hours per week) and the hourly rate of pay is $28.00. Interventionists do not work on 11/25 11/26 11/27 1/2 & 1/3. ESSENTIAL FUNCTION:Social Emotional Learning Interventionists for elementary school assist students with accessing academic learning by providing strategic services that identify and address the social-emotional-environmental issues that interfere with the educational process. The Elementary SEL Interventionist implements strategies that promote students positive school adjustment and that enhance students social emotional development. JOB DUTIES: Identifies social emotional challenges of individual students through analysis of factors. Determines and implements appropriate SEL strategies to effect changes in behavioral-social interactions of with staff in implementing SEL strategies to promote student to students in crisis social skills groups and individualized SEL support as in building-based meetings as the confidentiality of schools classrooms teachers and studentsPerform other duties and responsibilities related to SEL as with parents/guardians as neededCollect and analyze data as neededQUALIFICATIONS:Demonstrated experience supporting students with SEL needs including students who have experienced traumaStrong and effective communication skillsAbility to build strong positive relationshipsAbility to foster positive learning environment
