Job Description
Key Responsibilities:Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of floors including sweeping mopping scrubbing buffing and and maintain specialized floor care equipment such as buffers scrubbers extractors and promptly to spills and other floor-related maintenance needs to ensure safety and prevent appropriate floor finishes and treatments according to established routine inspections to identify areas needing additional care or of waste materials and follow proper cleaning with carpet cleaning spot treatments and stain removal as procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and other compliance with all safety and security collaboratively with custodial and maintenance teams to maintain high cleanliness any maintenance or safety issues to duties as & Requirements:High school diploma or GED preferred.6 or more months experience as a floor technician or in janitorial services is of floor care equipment chemicals and safety to work flexible shifts including nights weekends and attention to detail and ability to follow of significant safety training is Requirements:The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally required to perform the following repetitive movements: stand walk sit use hands to finger handle or feel objects tools or controls reach with hands and arms climb stairs balance stoop kneel crouch or crawl talk or hear. Ability to stand walk and sit for long periods of time including the ability to walk long distances. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move a minimum of 40 pounds of office and facilities equipment (cleaning products tools and ladders) and trash and the ability to safely use the equipment provided. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
