Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapists to join our team in Green Cove Springs. This role focuses on providing school-based therapy services to enhance students ability to perform daily activities and succeed in an educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans to improve students fine motor skills hand-eye coordination and daily living activities.
- Implement therapy sessions that include exercises for stretching strengthening and enhancing flexibility to restore joint motion and muscle strength.
- Assist students with developmental delays in performing daily tasks independently such as dressing toileting and feeding themselves.
- Address sensory processing and attention issues to enhance focus and social interactions in the classroom.
- Support students with behavioral disorders in developing effective anger-management strategies and coping mechanisms.
- Assess and recommend specialized equipment such as wheelchairs or communication aids to support students needs.
Qualifications:
- Graduate degree in Occupational Therapy (Masters or Clinical Doctorate).
- Excellent organizational skills and adaptability to change.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Proficient in documentation and report writing.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
