About the role

Were looking for an experienced SDR Team Lead to take ownership of our SDR function and build a high-performance outbound engine from the ground up. This is a critical leadership role reporting directly to the VP of Sales.

Youll be managing a small team of SDRs across the UK and US with plans to scale the team by 8-10 people over the next 12 months. This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow within and build a world-class SDR organisation.

What youll do:

  • Lead and manage Definelys SDR team based across the UK and US

  • Design execute and optimise a scalable outbound sales development strategy

  • Focus on phone-first high-impact prospecting; building pipeline through consistent value-led outreach

  • Coach and mentor SDRs on best practices including consultative sales techniques and AI-led product positioning

  • Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing to ensure consistent messaging and ICP alignment

  • Use data to measure performance improve outreach strategies and drive accountability

  • Take ownership of hiring onboarding and developing new SDRs as the team grows

What youll bring:

  • Proven experience as an SDR Team Lead or Senior SDR in a B2B SaaS scale-up environment

  • Deep understanding of outbound sales development with an emphasis on phone-based prospecting

  • A consultative sales mindset with the ability to train others in this approach

  • Comfortable leading a hybrid cross-time-zone team (UK and US)

  • Strong process builder and operator with experience implementing sales tools and workflows

  • Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding pipeline generation targets

  • Organised data-driven and comfortable with CRM and sales engagement tools (e.g. HubSpot Salesloft Apollo)
