Primary Purpose:
The Restaurant & Bar Supervisor plays a key role in delivering an exceptional dining and beverage experience for guests. This position supports the daily operations of the restaurant and bar ensuring high service standards team coordination and guest satisfaction. This isan hourly position eligible for tips.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise schedule and train restaurant and bar team members.
- Lead by example to ensure outstanding guest service throughout the dining and hotel experience.
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally escalating to management as needed.
- Ensure all opening and closing duties are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Support team members during peak hours and assist with service as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with Health Department regulations.
- Monitor and maintain bar and restaurant equipment side stations and supplies.
- Uphold all safety and security procedures including reporting incidents or unsafe conditions.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the success of the restaurant and bar.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of prior server or bartender experience.
- At least 1 year of supervisory or team lead experience in a hospitality setting.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Certifications (Required or within 60 days of hire):
- Food Safety Certification
- Alcohol Awareness Certification
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Ability to bend squat walk and stand for extended periods.
Other Requirements:
- Must meet the minimum age requirement to serve alcoholic beverages.
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Flexible availability including evenings weekends and holidays.
Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate including but not limited to skill set years & depth of experience certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
