As anAnalyst in the Hedge Fund and Asset Managers teamwithin the EMEA Wholesale Credit Risk Organization you will play a crucial role in maintaining the strength and resilience of JPMorgan Chase. You will be at the forefront of managing counterparty credit risk using your expert judgment to anticipate and address new and emerging challenges. Job Responsibilities
- Manage counterparty credit risk for hedge funds private asset and mutual and pension funds.
- Conduct ongoing credit risk portfolio management including assessment and approvals of counterparty exposure.
- Analyze market events regulatory developments and client performance.
- Perform in-person due diligence alongside an Associate and a Vice President.
- Build financial models and perform bottom-up analysis in response to global events.
- Prepare presentations to outline recommendations to senior management.
- Develop an understanding of risk management theory including exposure metrics and methodologies as well as lending and trading legal documentation.
- Engage in discussions and communication with colleagues and client contacts.
- Build effective relationships internally and externally with appropriate support and escalation.
- Learn about credit risk management with a focus on the hedge fund private asset and asset management industry.
- Take responsibility for your own portfolio of clients within your dedicated sub-team.
Required Qualifications Capabilities and Skills
- Entry-level role; no prior experience required
- High level of interest in global financial markets quantitative skills flexibility and intellectual curiosity.
