Shift: MondayFriday 6:00 AM 2:30 PM (hours may vary)
Pay: $18/hour

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Assembly worker to join our team in Pryor. This position is responsible for producing components by assembling parts and subassemblies following detailed blueprints and specifications. The Mechanical Assembly role requires proficiency in using hand and power tools attention to detail and the ability to meet quality standards in a heavy industrial environment. Candidates must complete required assessments prior to starting and supply their own basic hand tools.

- MUST TAKE TAPE MEASURE AND MECHANICAL ASSESSMENTS FIRST
(Please see one of our Stand-By Personnel locations for assessments) - Must have or be able to obtain own basic hand tools.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare work by studying assembly instructions blueprints and parts lists while gathering parts subassemblies tools and materials.
- Perform tasks to assemble metal components subassemblies products or systems by following production drawings and verbal instructions.
- Assemble fabricated parts into large or heavy subassemblies and complete units.
- Read and interpret blueprints/drawings as needed; test and calibrate mechanisms to meet tolerances and specifications.
- Use hand tools power tools welders and machines to attach bolt press drill hammer and achieve required specifications.
- Perform go and no-go testing and inspections using measuring instruments to ensure parts and assemblies meet production standards.
- The Mechanical Assembly position involves working closely with other team members to maintain efficiency and meet production goals.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a mechanic or in mechanical assembly.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints/drawings.
- Certificates of training in blueprint reading and welding preferred.
- Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Competency in basic math (adding subtracting multiplying dividing fractions and decimals).
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple instructions.
- Physical capability to perform heavy industrial work including frequent standing sitting climbing stooping kneeling crouching and lifting up to 50 lbs (occasionally more).
- Specific vision abilities required: close distance peripheral depth perception color vision and ability to adjust focus.
